Forrest is a seasoned corporate attorney with more than 15-years experience in both law firm and in-house settings. Forrest’s provides a full-suite of general counsel services, with a focus on commercial contract negotiation, M&A transactions, real estate transactions, business formations and start-up consulting, equity financings and dispute resolution.
Industries served by Forrest include energy, technology, construction, hospitality, manufacturing, commodity trading and professional services, among others. Forrest’s clients span from publicly-traded companies to individual entrepreneurs and investors.
In addition to being an attorney, Forrest has been a licensed escrow officer since 2017.


Bio
Forrest was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where he graduated from Memorial High School. Forrest earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, during which time he studied political science and business and spent a semester studying abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. Forrest then returned to Houston to attend law school at the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Forrest held clerkships with the Texas Attorney General’s Office and for Justice Evelyn Keyes in the First Court of Appeals of Texas.
Following law school, Forrest began as an associate in the Business Transactions Group of a full-service business law firm.
After 6 years at the law firm, Forrest accepted a position as in-house counsel for Trican Well Service, L.P., a recently established US subsidiary of the international pressure pumping and oilfield service company Trican Well Service, Ltd. (TSX: TCW). When the US business was divested in 2016, Forrest re-entered private practice with the co-founding of Gordon Lusky LLP.
